Food: wonderful vegetarian eatery. Fusion of Chinese and Indian dishes are readily available. Love their dosas.
Accessibility: easily accessible.
Parking: there is not enough parking during peak dinner time.
Children: kid friendly
Pricing: slightly on the expensive side
Environment friendly: there is NO recycling or composting of any of the products, that I could deduce. -

First visit to dosa house with friends. I ordered a chettinad masala dosa. For those who are new to dosa, it's a savory rice and lentil crepe served with potato curry on the side and sambhar (lentil soup). The portion of dosa was huge for $9.99. Happy with that.
However, I gave a 3* because there was absolutely no spice in the chutneys. All the chutneys were so bland! I understand there are a variety of customers one needs to cater to but there are different ways to add spice per request. The sambhar was delicious.
The final order was chai (tea) and I was so disappointed here. Overload of cinnamon with a watery consistency.
Overall, didn't really leave me a happy customer and kept me wanting for more. -

I suspect miscommunication might be to blame. But nothing went right today. I ordered a dosa with a side of dal (lentil soup). I was told t comes with the dosa. Which was not true.
Then later I wanted to order a chai tea and was told to go to the other end of the counter. Once on the otherwise I was told to go back to the other side (where they take your order).
But if you want southern Indian cuisine dosas, this place is still the place to go. -

I go to Chaat House frequently but have been to this place only a couple of times. They have many options for Dosa. I have tried their Mysore Masala Dosa and liked it though I didn't like their Sambhar much. I also ordered Gobi Manchurian and it was okay - I like Sitar's Gobi Manchurian better than theirs.
